This is one more authentic recipe from andhra. Again my Mother-in-law's contribution. I'm amazed to see how creatively our former generations used everything effectively brilliantly and and prepared so much tasty dishes with simple ingredients.
We get beerakaya in asian stores under name called chinese okra . This vegetable is very easily digestible and given to new mothers.
when ever i buy beerakaya(dodka/Ridgegourd) ,i store the peeled skin in a fridge to prepare this podi.
