Rava Laddu /Semolina balls

My Favorite sweet  

Ingredients
1 tsp nuts
2tsp ghee
1/2 cup Semolina
1/2 cup sugar ,I used  brown sugar.
1/2 tsp cardamom
optional 2-3 tsp ghee for mixing

Method


In a pan add 1 tsp of ghee and roast the cashews ,almond pieces and keep it aside.

Roast rava till it for 5 to 10 minutes in a medium flame till it becomes golden color
Allow this to completely cool.

in a bowl, take all the roasted Rava, Nuts, dd the Cardamom powder. Then add the sugar. Mix well.

Melt the ghee and add this to the Rava sugar mixture.

Mix well with a spoon and make it into round balls.


here is a tip : if you don't want to add ghee ,Make sugar into 2 halfs boil 1/8 th cup of water and add half sugar into that.let it boil ,now pour this on the other half of sugar and rava mixture and make small balls.


This can be stored in a air tight box for 3-4 days in room temperature if they last :)
