FLAT BEANS CURRY |
Ingredients:
- Flat beans
- Tomatoes-1/2
- green chilies-2-3
- red chilies-1-2
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Coriander powder-1 tbsp
- Cumin/Jeera Powder-1 tbsp
- Turmeric-1/2 tbsp
- salt-1 tbsp
- red chilly powder-1 tbsp
- ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Method:
- Cut the finely washed flat beans and pressure cook for 2/3 whistles
- Take oil in pan and add turmeric,mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves and let them crackle.
- just cut tomatoes into big chunks,add green chillies, ginger, garlic and grind them in mixer grinder. don't make it into fine paste.
- Now add this to the pan and fry them for about few minutes.
- Drain off the water from cooked flat beans and add this to the contents into the frying pan, add salt, coriander and cumin powder and cook for about 5-10 minutes
